Privacy Policy: course-video-uploads

course-video-uploads is a command-line tool that I use to upload lecture and tutorial videos for my courses to my own YouTube channel. It is not distributed to anyone else; its only user is me.

Use of YouTube API Services

This tool uses YouTube API Services. By using it, I agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

What data the tool accesses

The tool authenticates to my own Google account with OAuth 2.0 and uses the YouTube Data API to upload video files from my computer to my own channel, set their titles and visibility, and add them to playlists on my channel. It does not access any other user’s data, and it does not read, collect, store, or share any information about viewers of my videos or any third party.

Data storage

OAuth credentials and tokens are stored locally on my personal computer and are not shared with anyone. No other data is stored.

Revoking access

Access granted to this tool can be revoked at any time through the Google security settings page.
